The Red Sands Film Festival, brought to you by Revolving Door Productions, is an Australian Film Festival that takes place in Melbourne each year. Though we are wanting to celebrate independent storytellers and their films from around the globe, we also don’t want to forget our roots.
Our country has some amazing stories that are waiting to be told, and a stunning landscape to capture them. We want to showcase everything that makes this country great. From the Red Sands of our stunning centre to the beautiful rainforest and coastal beaches.
We are bringing ‘Indie’ back to the independent film festival. There are so many great festivals out that could really kickstart some indie filmmakers career. However, as festivals grow in size, it seems most films will be over looked unless you are full of star power and big budgets.
